Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 15, 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide information to website operators. This policy explains how HitFactor uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage).

2. Cookies We Use

HitFactor uses only essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies.

3. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage to store authentication tokens and user preferences locally on your device. Local storage data does not expire automatically but is cleared when you log out or clear your browser data. This data never leaves your device except as part of authenticated API requests.

4. Third-Party Cookies

HitFactor does not set any third-party cookies. Our payment provider (Stripe) may set its own cookies when you interact with payment forms — these are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not control or have access to Stripe's cookies.

5. Managing Cookies

Since we only use essential cookies, disabling them may prevent the platform from functioning correctly (for example, you would not be able to stay logged in).

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will affect your ability to use HitFactor. For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, visit your browser's help documentation.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we change how we use cookies. Updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. If we begin using non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent before setting them.

7. Contact

If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at privacy@hitfactor.app or visit our Contact page. For broader privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy.
